Peggy at DesignFormuLA posted this image that she took while checking out some of the shops on Abbot Kinney in Venice this past weekend. She saw this exhilarating display of colorful vintage hand blown glass at Neptina...
Check out the other things she saw on Abbot Kinney at her post here, and be sure to check out her other finds at her blog DesignFormuLA.

Woo ... I'm drooling. Why oh why do I live in NY???
I've lived in LA a year, and I've yet to make it over to explore Venice. I think I might make a trip this weekend!
Cool photos! I love the owl trio (on the linked site). These glass bottles look great, but I'm glad I don't have to dust them.
Thank you! I relocated to SF and go to LA a lot....I have been missing The End of History in NYC, but this looks like a good west coast solution. Ridge Van Winkle--check it out. On Hudson right near Mexicana Mama (which is also awesome!).
Neptina has a lot of cool glass that she charges waaaaaaaaayyyy too much for. Last ime I was in there she was going on and on about her new Mercedes SUV. Yeah, whatever.
spinsLPs: my thought exactly. I wanted to buy those green ones on the bottom left last time I was there but had to leave, dejected, when I saw they were over $200 each! Back to ebay. ;)
PS - This is a great shot of the wall - it makes the store look so much bigger than it actually is! My compliments to the photographer.
They look beautiful, but that shelving looks so rickety and uneven I get nervous for crashing vases.
Ridge van winkle... No need to leave the island

Christine and Devyn ... thanks so much for the tip! I've been relying on just ebay for vintage glass
