We've seen plenty of shipping pallet furniture before (we've even seen a shipping pallet daybed before), but this one's a little different. And we're inspired...
What makes this one different? Well, to us, it's that simple coat of white paint — it makes the whole thing really come together. It's dramatic, sort of chic, but still has that rustic shipping-pallet edge.
Makes us want to run out and grab a couple pallets and a bucket of zero-VOC paint. We'd love to see what a bright color (maybe orange) with a white mattress would look like.

Nomade Express Slee...
Yes, please, but I'll take some sheets and a comforter with that.
Oh, furniture made from wood filled with all kinds of nasty chemicals which will be slowly released into the air. What a great idea!
I agree zeta. Why is pallet furniture being promoted on this web site when the pallets are chemically treated? Domestic pallets are usually heat treated, but overseas pallets are chemically fumigated. Unless a person knows which markings to look for they could end up using chemically treated ones.
I'm not quite sold on the idea for indoor bedrooms. It is a definite possibility for an outdoor settee perhaps, or outdoor lounging area. But as suggested, you might want to learn the markings for domestically treated wood first.
Yes I'm quite sure that the person who made this had no idea what they were doing. They want to poison themselves and their guests.
Do you yourself know what you are talking about zeta? I do not think so or you wouldn't leave such comments. Why not state what type of pallets people should be looking for?
It would HT for heat treated in case you are not aware. Some people never have a positive thing to say.
