Clever, green, stylish and clean-lined, yes! This super cute (and in great condition) car mirror turned décor makes me want to find a vintage car and remove its side mirror...which is a terribly un-green, destructive thing. This piece is just that cool! So, if you ever come across such an object for sale, pick it up and take it home with pride. And don't forget to hide it along the way from décor-thieves!

Shaw's Original Fir...
A salvage yard would be the place to go - and you can't get much greener!
I'm not condoning this ugly act but.....every girl knows there is no better mirror for eyebrow plucking and blemish evaluation than a car mirror! Now I can do this in the privacy of my room without the neighbors looking on.
Salvage yard, yes...but don't forget auto junkyards, flea markets, or asking the neighborhood car fanatic to save one for you. Many of them buy two of the same vehicle - one to restore, and one (often in worse condition) for harvesting parts - so they just might have a spare mirror (or two).
