She's done it again. Over in Oakland, Leah has impressed us once more with her latest project: Framing and hanging prints in her bathroom.
In just one afternoon, she completely transformed the space. And we agree with her husband's assessment: "Nick mentioned when he got home that he actually noticed the [pink] wall color less with the prints up." The artwork is now the first thing you notice instead of all of the pink in the room.
We also love that etched medicine cabinet mirror. And the fact that Leah used the very affordable Ikea Ribba frames for her new gallery.

It looks fantastic! Those great prints too.
I'd be worried about steam damaging the prints--do you have any advice to avoid that?
I've never worried about steam and put whatever stuff I wanted in bathrooms and I have never had a problem. But all of these bathrooms have either had a good, working fan or a window that could be opened so the room was never totally steamy. As long as you ventilate it properly, I would never worry.
Yeah, if yo open a window- no problem. Also, buy cool artwork from Sal Army, and if it gets destroyed... buy another one. Great room!
Man I wish we had an Ikea here. The bathroom in my new place is pink which I hate. Two walls are tiled and the other two have wallpaper (I know, but it seems to be in good shape), so I have no idea how to hang anything up to make it look less pink.
