Wild concept. We saw this whimsical tile design mimicking the footprints of animals and were bummed to find out it is only a concept at the moment. Designed by Maija Puoskari and Tuukka Tujula, it reminds us of a peaceful walk in a quiet wood.

This particular footprint is a hare, but we can imagine seeing footprints of birds, deer, the domestic cat or your child's favorite animal (unless you've got a dinosaur fan on your hands).

I love that, my kids would actually wash with no arguments if our bathroom was that fun!
Ironically, you couldn't have these tiles AND actual animals living in your home. I'm just picturing myself on my knees with a damp paper towel, trying to pick up cat crud* that's accumulated in the toe creases.
*That combination of shed hair and fine kitty litter particulate that is peculiar only to cats and their environments. Once it enters your home, it is impossible to eradicate. Within 30 minutes of a thorough top-to-bottom housecleaning, you will find cat crud on your floor again, generally right where your toddler drops his piece of banana.
There are commercially available acoustic tiles for ones ceiling that have paw prints though. Not nearly as sensuous and organic looking as these floor tiles but very cool none the less. They used them at the Washington animal shelter reno and an old arch. firm I worked for used them in a children's area at a neighborhood clinic
