From Lasse:
The pendant was put together in an hour using:
When I had many people over for dinner I just pulled out the dining table and the pendant. The clear bulbs have a nice cozy yellowish light!
Thanks Lasse!

This is exactly what I've been researching in the past few days! I'm wondering where to find a somewhat spiffier version of this--black cord with rust colored or copper socket. I've seen them in stores but they're usually very plain and cheap plastic looking. Any ideas?
And any tips for running the cord along the ceiling (to reposition the bulb without the cord lag shown here)?
Btw, these look fab with Edison lightbulbs. That's the look I'm going for.
Hi Steverino,
Here's a gorgeous one called "The Burnside" at Rejuvenation Hardware:

Its even got a cloth cord-- and you can pick the color of the cord!
Uh, isn't Lasse a man's name? I.E. Lasse Hallström - the Swedish film director.
@ lodel
Yes, Lasse IS a man's name. I should know since I'm the "Lasse" who sent this tip in :-)
I like it a lot
