This is a front yard we pass on our morning walk. When the grass came out and these plants went in, we were more than a little skeptical. There just didn't seem to be enough, and the planting scheme was overly formal for our taste.
But now that it's growing in, it's delightful.
We are certainly not experts on plants, but we're fairly sure the perimeter is (or is closely related to) a succulent called semper vidum. As for the rest of the plants, we'll leave that to you, dear readers.
There's a sprinkler system rigged up, so this certainly isn't a water-free garden, but we're guessing it requires less than an equivalent patch of grass.
