The resulting concrete former space is austere, modern and impressive, with an aesthetic that comes off a bit penitentiary on first glance (straight out of Michael Bay's The Island) . But the interior curvilinear walls and warm hued flooring reminds visitors that the NE Apartments not only house machinery, but also the riders who call the space home, while also tackling the limited parking problems inherent while living in Tokyo.
