You might never notice these nifty boot scrapers if you didn't know to look for them. They're beautifully worked into the ironwork of the railings leading to their buildings' entries. We love a good piece of design like this because it's so seamlessly integrated that it disappears.
The infill is simply left out of one bay of the railing, leaving a space reserved just for putting your shoe through and giving it a good scrape before heading indoors. We love the idea of a boot scrape being built in instead of tacked on. What do you think? Have you noticed these anywhere? Keep an eye out and you probably will see one before long!
