That's a lot of wasted space, aside from being creepy and ugly. And what if you have doors? You can't sweep in those rooms?
RJD... it's an art installation. It's not meant to be a real cleaning solution.
I think it's interesting, however terrible to see those gorgeous plaster ceilings destroyed.
(and aside from the fact that it is shown going through doorways...)
