FANCY & PRACTICAL.
The wine cooler, which had two compartments: one for the bottle and one for the ice. One of the owners, Lisa Harwood thinks she found these at either Pottery Barn or Pier One.

Dept. of Stolen Ideas. With skgr's birthday yesterday, we snuck out to a remarkable restaurant on Shelter Island (LI, NY) called the Vine Street Cafe. While the food was excellent, the simple decor was equally impressive. We had to snap some pics at dinner and took the rest from their website...

We particularly liked:

  • SO CUTE. The water glasses (Dur-o-Choc) which were very small versions of larger pint mugs. Bad pic. They found these at a closeout in Miami and have been looking for more. They say they might be able to tell us where next week.

  • SO SIMPLE. The heavy rounded silverware (18/10 Bague - Oneida) was heavy in hand and had NO decoration at all.
