While cruising the summer sales at World Market, we came across the wide legged Hako tables. We had seen them online with the other new furniture/decor items released a few weeks ago.... but hadn't seen them in person yet. Jump through for our thoughts on them, as well as another photo.
These Hako Occasional Tables had caught our eye while cruising online, although we thought they were something we were going to need to see in person. Once tracked down, they felt a bit like silly putty. Not because they are packaged in a sweet plastic egg and you can make stamps of newsprint paper (if only to be 6yrs old again), but when we created our silly putty masterpieces and then let them sit for a few minutes, they sank a bit. The feet of these tables feel a bit "puddled." Maybe flared is a better word... like bell bottoms.
We can see how in the right space they would be a great match, although the largest pieces comes in at under 4 feet. They would need to be balanced in a room with other pieces since they feel a bit heavy on the floor.
