... this diy project could be a simple solution to labeling your shelves with a bit of spunk. You can find Scrabble games by the dozens at thrift stores (and could probably find more by placing an add on Craigslist for old sets).
Each tile was glued to the tray, so pieces didn't go flying if it was knocked. What other games would lend themselves to something similar?

Really cool, It would be great if Scrabble sold individual tiles.
This is why I should google before I post. Ebay has really cool collections of Scrabble tiles. Right now you can buy 20 tile holders for $17, or 286 tiles for $10. There are also rare maroon and blue tiles. I foresee lots of projects.
And you can buy directly from Hasbro. Geez I should focus on the google better. Last post I promise.
Hey, that might be a better use for my scrabble game that's just gathering dust. I usually can't come up with more than "dog" in a game anyway!
I've seen artwork labelled with Scrabble tiles too. So cute!
