While driving through downtown Kansas City on a very, very grey afternoon, we caught a glimpse of the Boulevard Brewing Company. The yellow windows made such a punch to the bland sky, we just had to take a picture. Click through for a few more thoughts on the Brewery...
The Boulevard Brewery houses many great architectural details that could be applied to our own homes (Tour Coming Soon). The windows out front are a great example of this. The yellow tint to the windows are fun and playful and add another element of design to the building. They could have used clear windows.... but what fun would that have been?
Inside the floors, in the common areas, are made from 2x4's that have been cut into 1" thick pieces and laid down cut side up. You can see it in this photo that shows you the 76 employees that work there (just not at a very high resolution).
Look for more on this building later and ways to implement some of their designs into your own home.
