Makino hung up French linen curtains on a little rod to hide the eyesore while maintaining accessibility to the storage underneath. We really like this idea, and though it's hard to tell in the photo how the rod is hanging, we think you could just attach some hooks on the upper outside portion of the cabinets on which it could rest. Very simple, but can make a big difference.
