CaesarStone Motivo Brings Texture to the Surface

CaesarStone has been a long time favorite of ours for its diversity and quality, but now we are even more impressed by their new product released this November. Motivo is a completely unique embossed quartz surfacing material that can be used in a variety of applications from walls to countertops and the spaces in between.

The CaesarStone company, founded in 1987, is the pioneer of natural quartz surfacing and is now taking that innovation a step further. Using a patented polishing method to create contrasting matte and glossy surface areas on quartz, CaesarStone has developed a technology with endless possibilities. Customers will be able to custom order original patterns of textured quartz slabs in one, two or three centimeter widths, as well as wall cladding.

Presently, Motivo is available in two sample and stock options only. Lace 2116 is a classic, elegant floral pattern in pure white. This damask inspired pattern is contemporary, but on the softer side. By contrast, the Crocodile 3117 pattern is edgy and sophisticated in deep black. Just like a pair of crocodile shoes, it coordinates with everything without being predictable.

CaesarStone is an engineered quartz based surface that looks and feels similar to granite but requires no maintenance. It is non-toxic, highly durable and environmentally friendly. Plus, it's made in an array of colors and patterns that transcend natural stone, like Apple Martini. The price per square foot begins around $70 depending on the color/pattern. The Motivo patterns are considered in the E price group and cost about $100 per square foot.
