Some of you may have seen these at surf shops on either coast, but here's a great use of old boards that are no longer being used.
We came across these two chairs at a friend's place in California. I made a similar chair a few years back out of some scraps of wood and a handful of drywall screws. It's as simple as constructing a solid frame, cutting the board in half, and attaching the board to the frame.
These make great chairs for the porch, a teenagers room or the beach house (that I own in my dreams!).
