The brief blooming season for cherry blossoms is nearing a close, so we're posting some pictures of these gorgeous flowers before they're all gone. We snapped these photos on our trip out West a little while ago. Lots more below...

The cherry blossom "season" should actually start in a few weeks here in Chicago. There are actually quite a few of these trees in the city, but due to the cold spring they've yet to bloom.
Beautiful pictures. We just returned from the Washington DC National Cherry Blossom festival. It was cold and windy though that did not hold the crowds back.
