040308_studio.jpgOne of our coworkers used to hang painted umbrellas that she picked up in Chinatown from the ceiling over her cubicle, and it gave her space a great feel (as opposed to the run-of-the-mill blah cubicle). So when we spied these Chinese lanterns hanging in the small studio of Canada-based Double Happiness, we immediately loved how it warmed up the space with pops of color and pattern.

Owner Trudi makes dainty paper goods inspired by all things Japanese, and we particularly love her Bird Collage series. With a serene studio like hers, no wonder her collection is so pretty.
