We saw this bright red wallpaper framing the dressing rooms of a store in Montreal, and loved the eye-catching color. It also beautifully illustrated a point we like about decorating small spaces...
Sometimes going bold really pays off. Conventional wisdom usually states that in small spaces it's best to use calming, light colors to open the space up, and this can be absolutely true and accomplished to lovely effect. But we don't like rules when it comes to decorating, and some of the coolest, most inspiring small spaces we've seen have at least one bright, bold aspect. Do you have one in your home?

Love this - I believe that this actually works better in small spaces as the patterns can get lost in larger spaces whereas in smaller spaces, the pattern is more prominent.
I agree with bepsf that this is good for a small space. I couldn't stomach a large room covered in this pattern.
where o where can i find wallpaper like this--from supplier that *won't* break the bank?? (de gournay and gracie are out, alas, until i'm in a MUCH different tax bracket!)
