Often times food plays with our senses. Not just by taste, but by sight as well. Now we don't really want a guest to walk into our room and say, "Your living room reminds me of lasagna." But we are able to derive some inspiration from ingredients or doo-dads along the way. Click through the jump to see our other colorful kitchen find...
Between the Nonna Graters pictured above and these ice cube trays, color is a little hard to miss. Which color combos do you think work best together? Which one's don't? Are you bold enough to design your living room around an ice cube tray?

those cheese graters are so bad! they remind me of the country-style decor from the eighties. you know the type - raffia wreaths, denim, dead flowers, scarecrow dolls, painted miniature villages, snow globes, the scent of moth balls emanating from god knows where...
I must disagree, I think they're awesome.
A dear friend brought me back one of those Pylones graters from the shop in Paris. It's hilarious, and it comes with a ridiculous French poem about the grater lady on the package. It's quirky and campy, but definitely not tacky. My grater has a rubber ring around the bottom which is brilliant, and it works really well.
PS They are much cooler when viewed as part of the entire Pylones range. Pylones has expanded from Paris, and I think they now have shops in New York and London. There is also a website for the USA. Check it out- it's not what you think: http://www.pylones-usa.com/pylones/indexpylones.php
I'm with TheoJ. I'd lose the lady.
I'm not too sure about the grater, but I am a fan of Pylones products. My husband really loves his trout stapler!
im game for those niffty ice kabobs.
