These cardboard cut-outs by Cardboard Safari are wonderful - we laughed out loud where we came across them! Much better then their taxidermy cousins, they are a great way to add a little sense of adventure to your room.
The website has a gallery of customers’ photos of their products. You can view the puzzles in their native brown paper or see some of the great liberties people have taken with their products (paint, glitter, wrapping paper - you name it). It also helps give you an idea of how great some of these pieces look in real room settings.
The Owners Chris Jessee and Luis Rodrigalvarez, are located in Charlottesville, Virginia. They draw their inspiration from nature (of course) and use only 100% recycled, non-toxic, environmentally friendly materials. Even their cardboard is purchased locally.

I think these could look pretty cool if they were painted. Don't like them so much plain though.

it's played out for those of us who read a design blog everyday. But when most people see it, it's novel and interesting. Don't forget you're extremely jaded because you're on the very top of trends.
I had no idea this trend existed until I found this blog back in the spring. I still have never seen it anyone's house I know. And I like these.
i looked at these recently. I really wanted to get y dad the moose one for his barn/workshop. He collects different moose stuff, and short of getting a real vintage moose head, i think this would be fantastic.
For the size the price is high though, for cardboard... If it was out of wood, it would be a different story.
Also have looked for patterns and haven't found them. really wish i could and i would make it myself out of bigger sheets of cardboard and make a really big one or out of wood. tempted to buy the small one just to do that.

I have only seen it on design blogs, only person I know who has one in their house is me. I got it from VEER, when I received a catalog for fonts because I am an art director at a mag. Well I saw the deer in their catalog and thought it was great. Bought it and spray painted it white. Put a spray-painted white frame around it too. I think it looks great, not over done, but I would probably feel that way if I only thought about how often its posted about in design blogs.

I tried one of the deer and the quality was horrible it did not fit together at all and the company was very rude.
