Look! Cool Stuff at the SF MOMA Gift Store

We were tooling around in downtown SF yesterday. Didn't have enough time to duck into the SF MOMA and check out the Frida Kahlo exhibit -- like we've been meaning to -- but we had just enough time to cruise the gift shop.

By the way: We don't recommend that you do this without plenty of cash in your pocket. Otherwise, it's a little painful. They have a lot of beautiful things you'll want in your home.

These Artala trashcans (above), by Joshua Davis and David Quan, were one of the first things that seriously caught our eye. Yeah, obviously, we don't need any more trashcans. Most people don't, as they tend to last a very long time.

But if you do, these are only $16 at Umbra and they're made from degradable plastic. So, when you do toss this one for a cooler design 10 years down the road -- you wouldn't do that, would you? -- you won't need to feel so badly.

We also liked these Carrie Bicycle Baskets ($50).

We consider almost anything that encourages bike riding a bright green item.
