
While our contest is over, the fall colors just keep coming. Below is a type of simple gutter picture that we really like to take and shows the clean colors of the season so nicely. Above and below is a remarkable "house" in the West Village, complete with it's own lawn, driveway and charming clapboard styling, as well as another townhouse, with a leafy front that we also love...

This is at the corner of Charles and Greenwich. It looks like it should be in Connecticut, or in NYC circa 1860.


And this FAVORITE is at the corner of Bedford and Grove. We particularly like the bright "stucco" front with the dark plants and vines against it.

*Sigh!* I love the yard photo. Those people should adopt me.
I've loved this house for the many years I've lived near it. It's quite famous and has been written up many times. The family who lives there is very private and you never see them in any of the photos.
