This little MP3 player concept was designed by the Id+Im design lab from Korea. It won a prestigious international IDEA design award, which is quite impressive. The Cross-Cube MP3 player unfolds from a dice-like cube to a cross shape, which is the Korean symbol for neighbors.

The project was originally designed for a charity which donated its profit of about $330,000 to an education program for low-income households. The design lab created this project for free, which makes the award even more deserving.
