We're usually more enamored of empty space than decorative "accents." But we had to bring this trio of spheres back from a recent trip to Brazil, their geometric covering in local seeds and twig stubs — by equally local artisans — to serve as a nice memento.
You can get something similar at Crate and Barrel, Pier 1 or Cost Plus. We've usually seen them staged in shallow bowls on coffee tables, or in hurricanes. But if that's too "done" for you, try something unexpected like wedging them between books on your shelf or on the floor in a starkly visible corner.
