We were recently at a Silent Auction for an elementary school and one of the items being auctioned off was a decoupage rocking chair that some of the students had decorated with pictures cut out of a book about flowers. The chair also featured images of butterflies -- many of which the children had drawn themselves.

We thought the end result was really charming and it gave us the inspiration to do the same thing with a book on dinosaurs and an old beat-up adirondack chair our son has sitting in our backyard.
