At Diane's house in Rochester last week,
we got a lot of inspiration from her endless DIY projects: a shed full of old chairs waiting for reupholstering, picture frames waiting for paint jobs, and a basement full of secondhand finds and furniture-building projects. Sometimes she sells the stuff, other times she lives with it. We thought this stained glass room divider was a great alternative to the standard room dividers that sit on the floor. By connecting found antique windows to each other to create an almost-solid sheet of framed glass, Diane then hung them from the ceiling, saving space and allowing light to travel from one side of the small sun room to the other.
As an experiment, she tried out a DIY stained glass method (one that is removable if she makes a mistake or gets tired of the colors or the look).
Sorry, we don't have the specifics of her method, but we're curious if anyone else has done a similar project!
