Look! Doll Apartment

This darling doll apartment is just about the only thing we would consider sacrificing valuable storage space for in our own apartment. It's a joint production between Jenny Rosenstrach of Cookie Magazine and her 5-year-old daughter and is filled with items from Jenny's own childhood dollhouse, eBay finds and their own mini-diy creations.

Half the fun of a dollhouse is decorating and rearranging it (3/4's the fun?) and it sounds like Jenny and her daughter had a blast finding and making things for their cabinet dwelling. For example, see that groovy wallpaper in the kitchen? It's wrapping paper from Old Navy. Another nifty idea is the adhesive LED light that they put on each ceiling to illuminate the darker corners and make it fit for 24-hour play (because you never know when the urge to play is going to strike).

See more photos and read more about this little apartment's furnishings at Cookie's Nesting blog. And, why not look around your place for an empty shelf of drawer you'd be willing to sublet to a doll family looking to relocate.
