"Don't Park Here or We'll Have Your *ss Towed" signs somehow manage to convey the ire of every driveway owner's annoyance. All over San Francisco, these hand-scrawled messages contribute to the collective tension over parking in a city where cars outnumber places to put them. So we're pleased to see these graphic versions popping up around town. They are kinder and gentler in their pictographic anonymity.

And yet the sad message is still quite clear.
