There's something creepy and unsettling about this space. I can't see myself wanting to spend much time in there. Everything is so equally spaced out -- the pillows, the elks, the lights, the lantern collection. It screams -- please don't touch anything! The creep-factor isn't helped by the up-lit elk heads. It's like Phantasm meets Solid Gold.

you've highlighted the one room in this house i don't like.

great for a nightclub or hotel lobby; way overstylized and impersonal for a home. add the dusting of the repetitive (and to my eye insignificant) elements and the cleaning of the drapes. not how i want to live....but i'd sure enjoy a visit.

it looks like they probably only use it as a lounge and for entertaining. beautiful but cold in an otherwise more beautiful home.

Those are the exact impressions I got. As a lounge or party room, very nice.

As for everything else, wow. That view! A little overstated overall, but still beautiful.

Looks like a place a Michael Mann movie would take place in. 8^D

I actually like the busts of the bucks, though my grandmother had a room with alabaster sculpture and the kids were never allowed in there at all, except on special days. We only hung out in the den or the screen porch. This room is for grown up parties - were really expensive booze and coke are served.

That room is horrible..I would have nighmares. So badly contrived. Remindes me of that bad interior in the american gigolo.

The drapes are fabulous. Who made them and what color are they?

I'm still trying to figure out what sort of thing is sitting on those bookshelves. It sort of looks like a beer stein but not really.

Anyway, the room fits the rest of the house. Nice to look at in my opinion. But I'd find it really difficult to find the house comfortable -- it's all cold and uninviting to me.

This room just looks creepy with the lighting and feels more like a hotel lobby than someone's home. The view looks spectacular though.

Something about the deer heads and the modern decor is horribly off-balanced.

God I love dead animals on my walls. (No really, I love putting remnants of dead animals in my apartment.) But these white deer sculptures do not exude the same feelings of destruction and triumph-over-beast that a real stuffed animal skin gives. The metaphoric "lifelessness" is metaphorically boring.

For me the couch and the draperies give the room a sense of height, but the coffee table is too large, emphasizing the fact that those couches really are just too damn short. And those size of those heads finally just throw everything out of proportion completely. And the colors and lighting are funereal.

This place seems a touch extreme, but look where it is ! Hollywierd ! Not my taste but done very very well .Thank God there are still some risk takers out there mixing modern colors and materals. Found the deer heads made by a local Artist at Craig Olsen on La Brea .

I can only imagine the kind of dilweed who owns this property.
