Any Boston or New England area folks have good industrial sources? I can't drive to NYC or Chicago (::sigh::), and would love a fun 1-day excursion.
Nor'east Architectural Salvage (near 495/95 intersect) is cool if you're in my neck of the woods, and they usually have a few vintage iron table bases, lots of old metal grates, great old barn wood, etc.. Ignore the sad news about last year's fire; they're up and running with a new warehouse.

Thanks in advance for any advice you can give! Mary
How about a good industrial salvage in the bay area? I'd love to find one.
I *just* bought a set of dishes from Fishs Eddy and I cannot recommend them (the dishes, "bright whites;" or the excellent store; or the excellent staff) highly enough!
I LOVE Fishs Eddy in all capitals. They have the best folks working there, their goods (new & vintage) are great - most of our dishware are from there. Their prices are fair. When they had their not-going-out-of-business sale a while back, the prices were awesome!
I'll love industrial, so I'll definitely be there tonight!

I picked up some dishes at that sale, too. For $12 I got 4 new dishes (the perfect size--small enough to keep me from eating too much, but nothing falls off the plate!), 4 matching bowls and 4 sturdy drinking glasses. They were nice enough to point me towards the coordinating mugs, too.
