We stopped in The Paper Source this afternoon and spotted this fingertip craft knife from Fiskars that would be a big help in many of our ongoings in this month's DIY Jumpstart Project. Having the right tool for the job is always a plus and we think this might be just the tool to send the hand cramps packing. Click through for pricing...
We've never used this knife before although we are best friends with our X-acto in many of the projects in our home. Have you ever used this funny little finger knife before? Leave us a comment and let us know your thoughts below! It runs $5.00 from Fiskars website, although you can use the locator tool on their website to find a store that carries it near you!

I haven't tried it yet, but for $5 I'm going to have to!
I'm going to try this too since it looks like the tip of the index finger remains mostly straight when cutting. I tend to develop something like a light, light callus on the joint immediately behind my fingernail because bending that joint helps me put heavy pressure down on the knife when cutting book board.
I so wish I had the money and space for a nice guillotine.
I bought this a few months ago. it can't be beat for precision cutting on thin stuff, but it gets a bit wonky if your trying to cut something where you need to apply pressure. It can be a bit close to the meaty base of you thumb for comfort at first, but once past the learning curve it's a great addition to a DIY arsenal.
I've got a pen similar to this. My mom is always looking for things to help with the carpal tunnel.
I have a similar pen, as well, though I rarely use it. I'm gonna have to try this.
A new craft toy? Gotta have it!
