We saw this on Flickr and didn't even know what the majority of the stereo equipment was in the photo. Naturally we had to know so we emailed Thomas and found out what he's got going on in his living room.

The silver box on the floor is a Burmester Power amplifier 911 (2x350 Watts), while the large black speaker is one of two B&W N800 speakers. The first rack above the floor holds a Panasonic HD recorder and control unit for the Pioneeer Plasma TV shown in the photo after the jump. The middle rack holds a Burmester CD player 916, Burmester preamp 808 Mk 3, Burmester Tuner 915 and Burmester analog/digital converter 950. (If you're wondering what Burmester is, it's a German hi-fi audio manufacturer). The next rack has a Transrotor Turntable "Coinisseur", CD recorder Yamaha "CDR-HD1500", Sony DAT recorder/player 77ES and a Nakamichi cassette deck "Dragon". The top shelf has a rocket shaped lava lamp.
