Our work took us to Pasadena yesterday when we spotted this giant glass partition. Used to separate a work station and a conference table area, the French doors allow light through while maintaining a sense of coziness. Views from alternating sides after the jump.
The doors were scored at an estate sale and work beautifully as a partition from the entryway area. The "wow factor" is unique because of the size and the vintage style of the French doors. For extra privacy, you could always apply contact paper to the middle area but we really like the airy quality of the current look.

Cool idea. Normally offices aren't this creative.
All I can think is earthquake. Hope those things are secured both top and bottom.
What's the point in a partition if you can see through it?
I think contact paper would look dreadful, but hinging doors together to form screens is great. You can buy cheaper ones at the Habitat for Humanity store, as well as the big box retailers. I think these would look nicer if they'd patched the lock holes and painted them.
And I certainly have worked in all sorts of great offices.
we did something like that with old French windows from a salvage yard - they had only glass in the upper half, which worked even better.

I used to have access to many old doors like this and always wanted to create a screen with them. It's nice to see that someone else has done that.
