We've got great memories of college life, lying around in the grass and just enjoying a summer afternoon with friends. Now that we're older we'd like a little more back support and sadly we worry about grass stains (lame, we know) so we're into the kind of weird Grass Ottoman.
Sit on it, lean against it, put your feet up on it, it's perfectly summer. Also, it's plastic. So you could put it inside, you could put your allergy prone friend on it, and probably you need to keep the cat away from it. Are you into it?
The ottoman is made of a fade resistant plastic set on a lightweight form and was originally designed for a contemporary pool setting in Menlo Park California by principal designer Nancy Favier. It measures 15" x 26" x 26". See all the deets here.
We wonder how difficult it would be to build your own using real sod and a mound of dirt....

Wasn't this ottoman just posted last week?
Yes.
I know I shouldn't, but I love it! Plastic grass and all.
*runs off to bury face in shame.*
Looks like high end latch hook which would make it even cooler. Whatever happened to latch hook?
Leslie Shapiro of 407 Furniture (at 407 N. Fairfax Ave) prototyped a similar ottoman made of astroturf 5 years ago in her shop. Dimensions were 40"x40"x14". Shop local.
Isn't it funny how it keeps coming back?
