One of our favorite weekend activities is taking a nice, leisurely stroll through Golden Gate Park, where we inevitably end up by the Conservatory of Flowers. On a nice day, the blossoms in front of the building are practically electrified with color. But this weekend is the first time we noticed the other blooms peeking out from the back...

Follow the little path to the side of the building and you'll see a lovely little garden of absolutely beautiful - and perfect - dahlias. Each was carefully tagged with their classification, like "Skip to My Lou" and "GW's Babe", so if you fell in love with a certain color or shape you could probably find it relatively easily.

We never knew how much we liked dahlias until we came across this hidden gem in the park; now we might have to plant our own!
