On a quick last minute trip to LA this past weekend, we finally got to try the bi-coastal frozen treat, Pinkberry, at the Abbot Kinney location. We thought it was absolutely delish, but our favorite part of the experience was this decorative architectural wall treatment...
The shop design overall was good looking, very modern and clean, with bent wood accents, orange lucite chairs, tulip style tables and Alessi goodies on shelves as decor (and for sale, I'm assuming). This wall was the piece de resistance though, a glowing, crazily decorative installation of what must be faux flowers artfully arranged to form a three 2-d mural behind thick frosted panels.
More interesting than wallpaper, funky AND pretty, we really liked it.
It would be gorgeous behind a bed for a modern day update of the Brady parent's room....remember that leaf-motif acrylic wall screen thingy that they had?
