Another trick you can do is (if you use waterproof inks like Epson's) is once your prints come off the printer, soak then in a tea bath. Then if you're truly adventurous and have a fire extinguisher handy, put the prints under the broiler for a few seconds. That's one technique mused by art forgers, and it can make sepia toned inkjet prints really look old. I've done it a few times and love the technique.

another thing to do is put a sheet of plastic 'mirror' cut to size from your local hardware store. I did this -it looks AWESOME and was only $4!!

Hi, this is Kevboy, if anyone would like the very large jpg of the paris map, simply email me at titanic@swbell.net. I was very honored to be featured on apartment therapy. The map lends itself to covering many things, including boxes, cardboard mailing tubes etc. A friend even took it further and covered a small 2 drawer chest with a similar map. Another tip is to get old national geographic maps off ebay, These can be used for decoupage OR even wallpaper. I plan on wallpapering my bathroom above the waincoting with the collection I've bought on ebay.
