If you happen to be in Beijing right now with nothing else to do (hey, it's possible), do us a favor and tell us if the Kid's Republic Bookstore is even half as fabulous as it looks.
The Kid's Republic Bookstore, designed by SKSK Architects, houses an activity area on the first floor and a bookstore on the second. Children are encouraged to lie on the carpeted floor or curl up in any number of cozy reading nooks and enjoy the books at their leisure. Sounds like a little piece of heaven to us. Does it come in grown-up size?
