There's more than meets the this print montage that Kim from Desire to Inspire made to accent and cover a vast blue wall in her downstairs bathroom. Can you see it?

The numbers 1 and 2 have special significance in the bathroom, and done in an assortment of elegant and eclectic fonts printed against blocks of text, we're tickled. And that text? Well, see for yourself...

This grosses me out. The closeup text makes it worse. The numbers themselves look cool - I'd just prefer any other context.
hah it made me lol
I don't think it's that gross. It's kind of cute.
I remember this. It's witty.
HA! I think its quite witty!
that is so cool :-D it is also very well done, and a joy to look at. i imagine seeing it and going, "Ah!", and then stepping closer to get a detailed look, and starting to giggle :-D
gross.
Love it.
Cute, but a little graphic, design-wise, for my potty
eewwww!!
*giggle*
Makes me laugh :)
Hmm... I have to say, the bulk of my time spent in my own bathroom is spent showering/primping/cleaning the bathroom. I am at work most of the day, after all... so I'm not sure I find it all thaaaaat witty. ;) I much prefer my framed vintage soap & perfume labels, South American mask of a woman with REALLY big hair, and 1950's sun-reflector (with lots of very perky people pictured tanning), for slightly grooming-related, rather than potty-related, humor. I'm pretty sure these signs would be a hit with children though! I also think the slightly funnier and (debatably) classier version is what my old roommate had in her bathroom.. a giant (several feet tal) vintage metal advertising sign for "Chocolax" right over the toilet.
Good times...
I loved this, the subtle in-joke of it, until I saw the close-up of the background text - which completely ruins the subtle in-joke bit and, yes, is also a bit gross. But minus the background text I do love it.
hehehe! LOVE it!
Not my cup of tea - at least not anymore...
Sorry, no.
I actually like the blue and white bathroom, and the collection of white frames on the wall. The white sink, silver mirror, cute accessories, it's all good.
As far as the actual artwork, even the framed 1 and 2's is too much for my taste, it doesn't even seem subtle to me! and the background text is way way way over the top and too graphic for me.
i would have used "3"... much more subtle
How cute.
But I'm afraid "come pee and poo in my loo" doesn't quite meet my standards for witty. It might qualify as witty for a nine-year-old.
Look at it for what it is, a bit of inspired, inexpensive decorating for a huge wall, one of which I just happen to have (and when I say huge, well, 16 endlessly stretching feet of dining area wall). This little bit of foolishness (and, yes, it IS cute) inspired me to use framed discarded newspaper pages or parts thereof (I just retired from the newspaper biz) with turkey-red J's (my given-name initial) in various fonts printed/painted over them. Cool, cool look. And anyone offended by "poo" and "loo" -- well, poor you.
Really wouldn't do that one in my home, however, I did have a sign at eye level for a child - on my bathroom door - saying LMNO. It was the only way I could think of to help my very young nephew make sense of the 8 doors on my hallway so he could reach the room in time. Oddly enough only he, his mother, and I realized what it meant, no other adults visiting even guessed it (which was Perfect). It was just a temporary sign and I removed it once he didn't need it anymore.
i agree with 39520expat. it's fun, creative and inspiring. maybe it's not for everyone. i'm shocked that there were so many AT folk that did not appreciate it or have a sense of humor about it.
Seriously, I did not expect people to be so black and white about stuff like this, on AT.
In any case, I love it... its smart, cute and a fresh idea for a room that is too often typical or trite.
Good job! I would do 1 and 2 in there gladly.
Lol... How cute!
not gross, not witty either. just dumb.
Hilarious!! Bunch of negative nancies... As long as the owners love it, who cares?
