We couldn't help but notice the simliarities between these great knitted sculptures and that knitted lampost we found last month. Learn more about who's making this great art after the jump!
These gorgeous sculptures and floor lamp are the collaborative designs of two talented designers, Rie Egawa and Burgess Zbryk. We just love the interesting shapes and the unique textures created by their chosen materials.
Egawa and Zbryk are also creators of great wooden room divider screens. More information can be found at their website, egawazbryk.com.
What do you think about using knitted fabric as texture for a space? How have you incorporated the knitted texture in your own home decor?

There's something wrong with the way the last image is displaying. I love the colors of these; would never live with them, but they look good.
Wonderful artwork ??? WE don't think so!
Ok, I must have no taste - but I really like these. And I'm glad the sculptures have a way to keep warm during the winter.
The sculptures might not be right for every home but they are interesting. I can see them working in the right space.
I love the lamp but it is a bit extreme on the height.
