We're sure these things are no new, earth-shattering product, but we stopped in our tracks while we were window-shopping yesterday. What a great idea for rehabilitating an old lampshade! These little lampshade slipcovers from Frockz are made to fit almost any shade. We've bought a few beat-up lampshades in the past at thrift stores and whatnot, and just move the worst-looking part around to face the wall... But these would be a great way to liven up a space without buying a whole new shade. The website has all sorts of patterns to fit any space (and much better pictures than we were able to snap with our cell yesterday). What do you think? It's made of polyester (we're wondering if anyone's heard of slipcovers made from recycled PET, maybe?), but seems like a greener choice than tossing an ugly or out-of-style shade.
