If this LEGO wall could possibly mean no more crunching LEGO pieces underfoot then sign us up!
Even if it doesn't keep every little LEGO piece off the floor we think it adds a healthy dose of fun and creativity to a kids' space. You may think that doing a whole room with LEGO walls is a bit much. What about LEGO wainscoting just up to the reaching height of your little LEGO masters.

Shaw's Original Fir...
haha, just thought of that today :D
love it!
my husband would DIE!!!
I think my husband would never come out of this room!
Doesn't have to be wainscoting even. You can apply the boards in a big stripe mid-wall to cover both knee and standing heights for building, then move the boards up as your kid grows.
I've thought a lot about doing this in my hallway - chalkboard on one side and lego boards on the other - but always worry that the pieces would fall off and create more opportunities to step on them. I wonder if it would work better in a designated area that doesn't get a lot of traffic. Either way, I'm itching to do it!
Totally cool! I'm trying to figure out how to incorporate this into my son's room!
That's a great looking idea, but I think the reality of how kids actually play with legos would soon supersede the original cool design concept. If its not meant for kids, but playful adults, then rock on!
I've actually seen this idea used at a local Children's Museum. It's always the busiest room! :)
i thought of doing this for my son's room about 3 months ago...until i priced it out.
Makes me think of Inception.
braaahhhHHHHHHHMMMMM
Hmm, this could be cool on the back of the bedroom door. I don't think I'd want a swath of bright green through any part of my house I see on a regular basis! Not to mention the dusting...
What did they use to glue it to the wall?
Reading a few comments saying how this is more for adults as kids dont play with lego this way. But this is why this is so good for creativity. Its not creative if it follows the usual technique, this would encourage great play and just different visually!
I remember as a kid, my optometrist's waiting-room had a wall like that!! It was awesome. We built sideways houses.
So cool!
Love this idea. Wish I could get this going in my office on one wall. Its VERY creative to build things like throughout the day no matter how old you are.
Love love love this.
I suppose if your kids are all grown and you have nothing else to do with the DUPLOs, then sure, why not. I'd hate to have to dust the boards, though.
