We hate to brag, but we're really quite happy with our idea to incorporate lichen-covered branches into the Dwell Home: Silicon Valley
. Not only does the chartreuse color work really well with the interior furnishings and finishes, but we love the fact that we were able to bring natural elements into a contemporary home for less than $100!
The branches were purchased at the flower market for $75 (for a bundle that we selected ourselves) and they were placed above two built-in IKEA Expedit shelving units. (Each unit cost $150 and took less than 4 hours (and we aren't pros at assembly) to put together.)
