Leaving a loving note in your kid's lunch box is taken to a new level by one work-from-home dad who makes lunch and a robot creation each day for his wife and son.

Not only is this idea incredibly sweet, we love these quirky, fun lunchbot drawings! You can follow along with Justin Emerson's creations and see many more lunchbots at Disposable Drawings (oh, man, please tell us they don't throw these away!).

Justin also sells 'blockbots' (hand-painted robots on blocks of wood, with butts we might add!) on Etsy as well as offers a few of his designs on t-shirts. We're hoping to one day find his lunchbots made into prints (pretty please).

Do you do anything to make your kids' lunches special?
