Look! Magnetic hanging basket on fridge

The fridge is one of the largest surfaces in your kitchen, so it's no surprise that for many of us, it also acts as art gallery or memo board. Bluelines blogger Milano, posted this fun space saving idea, of using really strong magnets and a metal basket to hold utensils. Have any of you done something like this?

I love this idea and have been wanting to do it for sometime with my light- & medium-heavy pots and pans, so the entire side of my fridge is my pot rack, but just haven't found the magnets. I see they mentioned Lowe's, I tried there, with no luck but I'll keep searching local shops... I'm in San Francisco so if anyone has any resources please post! Thanks in advance

TinyLiving.com has some pre-made refrigerator magnets. I use the paper towel holder and the large utensil rack for my large spoons and spatulas. Moving both those items OFF the counter really freed up some needed space.

Chiffonade - Very funny!

I bought some tiny, super strong magnets on eBay, for no particular reason except that I was fascinated by how strong they were said to be. Wow, they really are! I have all my knives hanging securely on the upper part of the freezer door (handily near my chopping counter), and I've hung flashlights, dog leashes, wire baskets, whisks, pots and pans, fishing poles, metal spice boxes, etc, etc, from time to time on many metal surfaces. Too much fun!
