I've known Mark Hunter aka the Cobra Snake since his high school years--he was an intern at a design agency that I used to work at--and trust me when I tell you this: he is exactly the same now as he was back then, right down to his questionable outfits. Mark and his site, TheCobraSnake.com, has become so popular that's he's got his own Wikipedia entry and a feature of his bachelor digs at The Selby. Take a look at some choice photos after the jump...
Mark's home may not have ingenious space-saving solutions or trendy furniture...heck, it's not even clean. But it has a sense of chaotic style that truly reflects his personality and his lifestyle; and for that, we appreciate it.

Check out Mark's entire home at The Selby; and if you're ever curious as to how accurate Entourage is to the real Hollywood scene, visit TheCobraSnake.com.
(P.S. It's pretty accurate.)

I love that this home is so different from the AT norm and really shows an individual personality. Also, thanks for using "I." I would have been surprised if all the AT editors were to claim that they went to high school with this guy.
and popular for no good reason.
I agree fabframes- let's push the "we" issue until it is obliterated completely.
I can't help but be a little obsessed with this guy and yet I also loath him. I guess it just bothers me when people in my age bracket get to be rich and famous for pretty much no reason. Damn.
I think maybe AT should do a "month" on chaotic style.
And Grace, Thanks for the insight into this guy. Before this I thought he was just following a trend. It's cool to know that he actually wrote up a business plan for this idea long ago and then followed through on it. And while the idea was not completely original in itself (see Patrick McMullan), at least he helped refresh and revive it for his generation/demographic.
This place has a lot of personality. AT needs to show more places like this.
down with "we"! down with "we"!
may i echo your words? no "we", no "we"!
Be careful what you wish for...
Chaotic style, well-photographed, fairly successful.
Chaotic style, amateur pics, just chaotic.
And while any guy with the nickname "Cobra Snake" is usually okay in my book, this guy seems like a self-fabrication in a self-fabricated land. Is he related to Perez Hilton?
Who is this guy exactly and why should I care?
i have no idea who this guy is.
but it's making me wish i kept my old shepard prints. damn.
He goes to parties in LA and takes pictures. Do the editors of AT know they can create a wiki page for themselves? That is the wonder of Wikipedia...
The Cobra Snake is making me laugh on a gray, rainy day. Thanks!
davidasposted,
that's hilarious!
i love his front door/s!
Cobra Snake is the Velveeta® of popular culture.
I don't care who he is, he's got a huge radiohead poster...which makes him awesome in my book.
thanks for posting this. my place is clean, but this is more my style. i'm a weird, nerdy, artist. so, it would be really off if my place was normal. i love homes that have a sense of humor & allow you to get to know someone even better. i think that's something most people forget.
The rusty gas can on the toilet tells me all that I need to know Senor Cobra.
