As if we didn't have enough ideas on ways to reuse a mason jar, we can now add this to the list: a soap dispenser! These lovelies come courtesy of Etsy seller Midwest Finds and retail for $10. (We particularly love the blue jar.) But it's actually not too difficult to make a mason jar soap dispenser yourself. See how below:
This tutorial came to Apartment Therapy via Heather Bullard and it explains that you really only need a mason jar, old soap bottle pump, drill, scissors, and 2-part-epoxy to get this look for yourself. Pretty simple!
If you want to purchase them right now, check out Midwest Finds Etsy store.

I love these! Can't wait to find an old mason jar and try it.
They can also be purchased from Lehman's catalog here:

They are a fabulous Amish company. You can buy the complete soap dispenser in a couple colors or just the pump itself to screw onto your own mason jar.
We got one as a gift, the hole around the soap dispenser rusted and leaked into the soap. I dried it out, covered the whole lid over with clear nail polish, and it worked for a year, but new rust has appeared.
