Check out a closeup view of the cool message board and dining area (previewed recently in Rebecca's roundup), created by designer Janine Carendi a friend was able to snap in person (you might remember his secret kitchen storage photos). You could list one heckuva long grocery list on that wall-sized side chalkboard and pin up a week's worth of notes onto that message board. But best of all, the whole table and bench setup tucks into a compact form when not in use. Peep the setup in its compact form below the jump...
We'd imagine ourselves using this as a remote/secondary home office during the day and a dining spot in the evening (or likely throughout the day too). Great small space design to draw inspiration from. Check out more ideas from Janine at her site Area Interior Design.

Looks so not comfortable.
The repeat postings are seriously getting out of control.
Cute idea. Though I agree with HandyC. Lots or repeats lately. Boo.
Is this really that much of a different picture that it needed another post?
I think its the same photos too!
Do people actually write 'shopping list' on a shopping list?
I should say, though, that I do think this is a great idea. I'm sure the cushions are perfectly comfortable. I would be more concern with the cushions slipping around.
this is totally awesome
Anyone know where the white table and benches (or smaller tables, I should say) came from?
I'll post a comment as soon as I pull this push pin out
of the back of my head...
